"Ceretto’s 2016 Bricco Roche is creamy, ample and wonderfully inviting, especially for a young wine.  Silky tannins and plush fruit meld so well with the wine’s mid-weight structure.  Sweet rose petal, red berry, mint, blood orange and cedar are some of the many notes that open up with a bit of air. The 2015 captures all the elegance and finesse that are such signatures of this Castilgione Falletto site."

"The smallest MGA, with only 1ha of vines, Bricco Rocche is a monopole of the Ceretto family and was first crafted as a single cru in 1982. Sitting at the top of the hill, it is bathed in sun throughout the day. Pretty and fragrant, the nose is redolent of classic rose accents along with spice, mint and hints of tar. Quite rich and sumptuous on the palate with fleshy fruit reined in by sneaky tannins, this remains graceful in its execution, displaying exceptional inner-mouth perfume and a tangy, sappy finish."
