"The 2022 Barbera d’Asti Trevie is a gorgeous entry-level offering from Vietti. In this warm, very dry vintage some the intense savoriness and minerality of Asti is pushed into the background a bit while the fruit is very much upfront. That makes for a super-appealing Barbera that will drink well right out of the gate. Red plum, chalk, mint, white pepper, blood orange and floral overtones are front and center."

For those who just aren’t satisfied without a full-throttle red wine with serious teeth-staining fruit intensity. This Barbera has all the right stuff. Absolutely charming and delicious, ripe and dense, vibrant and forceful. This stainless steel fermented powerhouse is of the best-selling Barbera in the history of the store for good reason.
Winemaker Notes:
"Ruby color with ripe red cherry aromas and vanilla. With hints of violets the on the palate it shows bright acidity, soft tannins with good integration of oak, good complexity and a lingering cherry finish."
