Why Bottle Barn? 

Because you deserve true quality for great prices, and the other guys just aren’t cutting it. We are the wine country experts, curating a selection of some of the best wines in the world since 1990. We are here to help if you would like any suggestions and will do whatever we can to get you the perfect bottle. 

 

How does it work? 

  1. Select your favorite wine or spirits (CA only) and add them to your cart. 
  2. Check out, adding an address even if you intend to pick-up in store. 
  3. Get a confirmation email when you place the order , and another when your order ships or is ready for pick-up. 
  4. Receive your wine and spirits. 
  5. Enjoy and let us know what you think. 

Our wines and spirits are specially curated by our team to help you create more shared experiences with the people you love. Once we receive your order, we pack it up and ship it from Santa Rosa and it should make it to you within 2 to 5 business days. Then taste your wine and spirits or share with friends, let us know what you think, and we'll start the process all over again. 

 

How can I be sure the product is good? 

Our wine team has been at this for nearly 30 years. Every wine and spirit is chosen because it specifically hits that sweet spot between quality and price. However if you receive your wine and you think there is something wrong with it, let us know and we will see what we can do. 

 

What if I don't see the product I'm looking for? 

We are still in the process of loading all our inventory online and thank you for your patience. If there is a product you are eager to get or see if we have available, you may submit a request to support@bottlebarn.com. Please note that we have many requests in the queue and it could take as little as a few hours or as long as a couple weeks to receive a response, depending on the product. 

 

Where should I ship my wine or spirits? 

You must ship your wine or spirits where someone over 21 will be able to sign for it during weekday business hours. Whether it’s your home, workplace or the local UPS, just keep track of it when it’s going to arrive so you don’t have to do a wild dance to get it back. We also cannot ship wine or spirits to P.O. boxes, it must be a physical address. 

 

How can I order for store pick-up? 

To see store pick-up as an option at checkout, you must put in any Northern California shipping address. After placing your order you will get a confirmation email and then another letting you know when your order is ready for pick-up. Orders are generally ready within a few hours and must be picked-up within 30 days of being ready. Unless other arrangements are made, if you order is not picked up in that time frame it will be cancelled and refunded. 

 

How long will shipping take? 

Depends on where we’re sending it, but generally speaking 2 to 5 business days. For more details, view our Shipping & Returns page. 

 

Do I have to be 21 to order? 

Absolutely, and someone 21 or older must be there to sign for the wine upon delivery. 

 

What if I don’t like a wine? 

We believe the the quality of the wine we sell. If you get a faulty bottle, we will certainly offer you a refund. Take a look at what's covered under our return policy and reach out to see what we can do. 

 

How long can you hold for weather? 

We will hold shipping orders upon your request for up to 3 months. 

 

Can I pick up my wine at the Santa Rosa store? 

Yes you can. Simply put in a Northern California address at checkout and you will see Store Pick-Up as an option when you get to shipping. Orders are typically only held for a few days after being fulfilled, so if you need longer before picking-up please reach out to us directly. 

 

Can I phone in my order? 

No, all orders are processed through the website. For queries you can reach out to us at support@bottlebarn.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible. 

 

Do you carry kegs? 

No, we no longer carry kegs of any size. For locals, try BevMo. 

 

What about beer and cider you carry in store? 

Our online inventory is just a sampling of the wines we offer in store. To inquire about specific products email support@bottlebarn.com. 

 

Do you offer quantity discounts? 

No we do not. All prices marked are the best deal we can offer! 

 

Do you offer shipping discounts? 

No we do not. Again since we try to start with the best prices possible we only pass on the cost of shipping plus the price of the box. No funny business. 

 

How do gift cards work? 

eGift cards can be purchased here and redeemed online or in store. The card will be sent electronically to the email provided at checkout. To send to a recipient, you can either put in their email address during checkout or put your own and forward them the email after.

To redeem a eGift card you have received or sent to a friend, when you proceed to checkout please enter the 16 digit gift card code in the box titled "Gift card or discount code" and hit Apply. This box is located below the summary of items in your order when you have proceeded to input shipping and billing information. After hitting Apply you should see your order total adjusted. 

While eGift cards may also be redeemed in store, physical gift cards purchased in store must be converted to an eGift card to be redeemed online. To have your gift card converted, email support@bottlebarn.com
