Third, Bottle Barn has great, long-term relationships with wine producers and distributors, ensuring that we received excellent prices, and we pass those savings onto our customers.
Bottle Barn offers both online and in-store shopping for wine and spirits; and, yes, you can order online and then come to the Santa Rosa store to pick up your order! Whichever options suit your convenience are always available. In-store pickup is available Monday to Sunday from 10:00AM to 6:00PM.
Bottle barn always offers great discounts and promotions. First, our regular prices on wines and spirits are highly competitive and offer great value. Second, you will see items with discounts and promotions prominently displayed in-store and under the “Sale” tab in the “Featured” section of the bottlebarn.com website.
The “Fine & Rare” section of the website features hundreds of rare, allocated, and limited-edition wines. You will also find rare spirits, including single-barrel selections! In-store, Bottle Barn a special temperature-controlled room for rare wines perfect for the collector or someone seeking a very special gift!

The bottlebarn.com website is a great resource, including up-to-the minute availability. Some wines may not have made it onto the website yet, so if you are looking for a particular wine and don’t see it, just contact customer service by phone or email.
Bottle Barn stocks organic, biodynamic, and natural wines, including dry-farmed and vegan wines. You can easily brose such wines by category under the “Eco-Conscious” tab in the “Featured” category of the website.

Bottle Barn boasts an extremely knowledgeable staff, led by wine buyer Barry Herbst, who boasts decades of wine industry experience. Barry has more than three decades of experience, ranging from sommelier and wine shop owner to high-level retail and private cellar acquisitions. He was raised in Southern California, where he earned his stripes in some of LA’s most celebrated restaurants, among them Chinois on Main and Osteria Angelini.
The Bottle Barn website allow you to quickly search for wines by style, country, and appellation as well as by price. In addition, the store’s expert staff, led by wine buyer Barry Herbst, are always available to provide advice. Just send us an email or call the store.
Bottle Barn boasts an unmatched selection of California wines, but our store is not limited to California, Napa, or Sonoma wines. The store works intimately with national and international distributors and producers, representing all wine regions across the globe, from New York to Tuscany, from Bordeaux to Georgia.
The wine listings on the bottlebarn.com website regularly feature third party review and winemaker commentaries, including suggested food pairings. These are supplemented by the Bottle Barn blogs, which often delve into tasting notes and food advice. In addition, Bottle Barn’s staff can provide tasting notes and food pairing suggestions. Shipping & Delivery
Bottle Barn ships wines nationwide. Spirits are only available for delivery within the State of California. Wines and other alcoholic beverages will be sold and delivered only to persons over the age of 21.
Some U.S. states prohibit or restrict inter-state wine shipments. To find out if we ship to your state, go to the online order form and enter your shipping address. If your state restricts the shipment of wine, no shipping options will populate, and you cannot place the order. Laws and regulations change constantly, so it’s also wise to check with state authorities or review your state’s regulations before trying to place an order for online wine delivery. We only ship spirits within California.
That depends on the size and weight of your order as well as your location. When you complete the online order form, you will be provided with the shipping cost.
We typicall ship orders the next business day Monday through Friday. Bottle Barn offers the following shipping speeds once the package has been picked up by the carrier:
- Ground: Day-definite delivery typically in one to five business days, depending on the distance
- 3-Day: Delivery by the end of the third business day
- 2-Day: Delivery by the end of the second business day to most areas
- Next Day: Delivery by the end of the next business day
We use UPS for order going outside of California or FedEx for order going within California for wine shipments. UPS is used for spirits orders that must be shipped within California only. If you need your wine by a specific date and are unsure if it will arrive in time, just reach out to us by emailing support@bottlebarn.com.
Yes. You will be provided with the UPS or FedEx tracking number, and you can track the shipment online.
Bottle Barn offers next-day delivery using UPS or FedEx but not same-day delivery.
Deliveries are shipped out the next business day. Exact delivery times will depend on the delivery service, UPS or FedEx.
Contact us by phone or email to arrange a specific shipping date designed so the package will arrive on the day you desire. Actual delivery date and time are not within our control, and you must communicate with UPS or FedEx.
You must be 21 or older to purchase and receive alcoholic beverages. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
All wine and liquor shipments require an adult (21+) signature upon delivery. To avoid missed deliveries, we recommend using a business address whenever possible. UPS and FedEx will alert you of a missed delivery, and you can routinely arrange a second attempt. Please note that if no adult is available to sign on the first attempt, the wine may be returned to us. Bottle Barn is not responsible for any damage that occurs as a result, and customers must cover all shipping charges if an order is returned.
If someone other than the person placing and paying for an order will be picking it up at the Bottle Barn store, please contact us ahead of time by email. Anyone picking up an order must be 21 years of age or older.
If you notice any damage—whether during transit or when you open your order—please email us at support@bottlebarn.com right away. Each situation is reviewed individually, but common examples include broken or leaking bottles, pushed corks, cracked wax seals, or damaged display boxes. To process your claim and help us improve future shipments, we’ll need clear photos of:
- The damaged item, and
- The shipping box it arrived in.
Orders, Payments & Returns
Bottle Barn accepts all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and PayPal.
If you need to change an order, contact us immediately, preferably by telephone. If you request a cancellation, a 3% fee applies. If we must cancel your order because we can’t fulfill it, there’s no fee.
If you return an item, it will be inspected upon receipt. We will then send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and if a refund has been approved. If so, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within two to five business days.
We will notify you by email if an item is out of stock, or if wines have a vintage change. We must hear back from you within 30 days or the order will be cancelled.
Yes! eGift cards are available in various denominations from $10 to $500 at bottlebarn.com/giftcard-1. Other amounts are available by simply emailing us at support@bottlebarn.com.
Beer, Spirit & Other Products
Bottle Barn is a great place to shop for artisanal and craft beers from the U.S and around the world.

Gifting & Corporate Orders
eGift cards are available online in various denominations, and physical Gift Cards can be purchased at the Santa Rosa store. Physical gift cards must be converted to an eGift card to be redeemed online. To have your gift card converted, email support@bottlebarn.com. If you would like to purchase a physical gift card to be mailed to a friend or family member, please stop by our Santa Rosa store or email us.
You can include a message when purchasing eGift Cards.
Yes, you can indicate a third-party recipient of an order when purchasing online. You can also call us to make arrangements.

Thanks to decades in the wine business and our close relationships with both producers and distributors, Bottle Barn routinely offers highly competitive prices on wines, often lower than you will find at other stores. You can easily check prices from the website.
Bottle Barn buys directly from some California producers and also works extensively with highquality wine distributors.

Bottle Barn does not currently have a loyalty program. We pass the superb prices we receive from producer and distributors directly to all of our valued customers.
You can easily place orders online at bottlebarn.com and select the option for in-store pickup. Just select the “Pickup” option as your delivery method. Then proceed to the payment options. Itemspurchased online are generally available the same day or the next business day. When your order is ready you will receive an email alert. Store pickups will be held for 30 days from the time you are notified of its availability. If you have extenuating circumstances and need to extend your hold, please email us at support@bottlebarn.com.
