This includes the use of ‘specially reserved’ aged Coffey grain and Coffey malt, as well as innovative new grain expressions crafted from a blend of corn and rye. This achievement represents the seamless fusion of Nikka’s rich tradition and innovative spirit.

This remarkable whisky is a harmonious blend of two distinctive components: the Saburomaru malt base whisky, primarily distilled in 2018, and the grain base whisky, meticulously aged in-house for over 12 years. It welcomes the senses with a captivating medley of smoky, sandalwood, and milk chocolate notes on the nose.

As you savor each sip, a symphony of flavors unfolds. Smoke, citrus, marron, the gentle bitterness of oak, and the later emergence of the sweetness of grain create a complex and evolving taste profile. The aftertaste is a testament to its depth, where burnt aromas and initial bitterness gradually yield to a lingering and satisfying sweetness."
