"The 2023 Chardonnay Maresh Vineyard seduces with a burst of crushed flint stones, dusty sage, nectarine and gingery spice. Its textures are otherworldly, nearly oily yet sleek, with a sour citrus nervousness that excites the palate as opulently ripe apricot settles on the senses. Despite its weight and intensity, this 2023 Chardonnay leaves the palate reeling with tension, salty and lime intense, with a strong mineral resonance that adds lasting crunchiness. Gorgeous today yet balanced for a long evolution. Drink 2026-2038."

"One of the most talented winemakers in the Dundee Hills goes by the name of Jim Maresh, helming the family estate as the second generation. This Chardonnay, one could argue his speciality, is from a small block of Wente clone Chardonnay planted in 1983. From it, he crafts a wine of seriousness and heft. Exotic spices, wild grasses and chamomile aromas meld with notes of ripe pear and peach. The palate threads a needle between salty minerality and rich notes of pulpy ripe Meyer lemon, savoury flourishes of verbena and thyme and rich, almost viscous ripe stone fruit flesh. Alcohol 13.0%. Drinking Window: 2025-2037."

"Pungent spring fresh yellow fruit. Potpourri, orange peel, gummy peach rings, slate, coriander seed. Packed with integrated and refined pure fruit essences that seem to volatilize into aromatic vapor perfume filling and exiting the olfactory system. An obvious, undeniable and complete in all facets wine with Mt. Jefferson for a mid palate and length that flows to Cultus Lake."
