"The 2020 Fixin Clos du Chapitre 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet that delivers commendable mineralize, quite precise and focused. The palate is smooth and very pliant, vivacious and slightly tart red fruit with just a touch of spice developing on the finish. This is a delight."

"A subtle but not invisible application of wood frames very ripe aromas of poached plum, black currant and earth. The plush, velvety and fleshy medium-bodied flavors exude evident minerality on the firm, palate coating and moderately chewy and rustic finale. This robust effort is clearly constructed to age and is a wine that will need at least some forbearance."

"Frankness with a lot of minerality. This wine, deep in color and with frequent black fruit aromas, does not line the palate but possesses a great deal of rectitude. There's no aggressiveness in the tasting, even if a touch of acidity can be felt in the finish. This wine is pleasant thanks to its fresh and subtle nose and its direct character, refreshing and not at all heavy."
