"Here too the expressive and beautifully layered nose of Granny Smith apple, citrus rind and exotic tea is airy, cool and elegant. The sappy and tension-filled middle weight flavors exude a discreet minerality that adds to the appeal of the youthfully austere and overtly bitter lemon-inflected finale. This is also terrific for its level and also very much worth your interest."

"The 2023 Meursault Les Luchets offers finely delineated lemon verbena, crushed rock and wilted white flower scents on the nose. It's complex for a Village Cru. The palate is beautifully balanced with walnut and fumé notes. It has a little more depth than the Les Vireuils and is certainly spicier on the finish. This is another great Roulot Meursault."

"Lemon yellow, a fuller yellower fruit, a bit more lower slope in style. Plenty of stuffing here, but perhaps not so much finesse. Still, Les Luchets shows the same overall qualities of class and especially. Length. Drink from 2028-2033. Tasted Oct 2024."
