"Classic Verdejo: tropical, citrussy and herbal. This is from various vineyard sites dating from 1900 to the 1980s, some of which are pre-phylloxera vines grown on predominantly sandy soils. A combination of fermentation in large French oak barrels (60%) and stainless steel (40%), the wine spends eight months on lees which brings some attractive bitter herbal notes, hemp and bay leaf. A touch of spice and cinnamon adds interest. 2024-27"

"Nisia comes from 80 year old vineyards of Verdejo planted in sandy soils. Sustainable agriculture and traditional farming. Bright aromas of passionfruit, pineapple, and minerality dance on the nose. On the palate, a rich texture is balanced by bright acidity and flavors of lemon curd."
