"The 2022 Naked Truth Savatiano, from old vines, is made with wild fermentation and skin contact for 22 days. It is dry, unoaked and comes in with 12.2% alcohol. A different beast than the regular Savatiano this issue, as always, this has more silk in the texture, a brighter demeanor and perhaps a little tannic pop on the finish. I personally preferred the greater fruit intensity on the regular bottling, but this handles itself well in its own style—more intense, less fruity. This, too, may hold pretty well, but it needs to develop to take the next step. It has a chance to do that, but there is no reason you won't love it young, like now."  

Winemaker Notes: 

"Bright gold color.  A complex aromatic character. Fragrant, with peach skin, honey and floral notes.  Full-bodied balanced by the acidity, complex flavor palette similar to the aromatic profile with an unexpected long aftertaste."
