"Although technically an orange wine, this is Gewürztraminer first, skin-contact second. In other words, it has a definite sense of place and varietal: Russian River Valley Gewürztraminer. Extended skin contact time lends the wine a unique, floral and very pretty nose. The palate is classic Gewurztraminer: juicy lychee, fresh lemon and the flowers of spring. Although unfined and unfiltered, it's layered, complex and has a clean finish. Orange you glad it's not white?"
