It's zesty and crisp, with good acidity and will drink well from the outset. This isn't as concentrated as some recent vintages, but it's still a highly impressive wine that will age with interest. "Vinified from grapes that were harvested as late as the 26th of September, the 2021 L’Hermitage Blanc was cropped at 38 hL/ha above the levels of 2022.  It dazzles with vivid spring blossom, honeysuckle, lemon peel, white peach, quince, apricot and discrete cedar aromas.  Medium-bodied and immaculately balanced by bright acidity, this is an athletic L’Hermitage Blanc with marked freshness and energy.  A saline aftertaste wraps up the sapid finish.  Outstanding."

"Tasted from multiple tanks and barrels, the 2021 Hermitage Blanc shows the fresher, elegant style of the vintage while still being nicely concentrated and rich. It has plenty of classic Chave rich, buttered stone fruits, medium to full body, a good spine of acidity, and a great finish. It will unquestionably be a beautiful Hermitage Blanc."
