"Limpid ruby. Cherry, red currant and hints of vanilla and licorice on the fragrant nose. Sappy red fruit and floral pastille flavors show good energy and a touch of spiciness on the back half. Smooth tannins frame a long, gently sweet finish that strongly echoes the red fruit note.."

"Old proprietary vineyards (40+ years) in San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Labastida. Environmentally integrated agriculture. Employing viticulture that respects the biorhythms of the plant and vineyard. Exclusively manual harvest with a rigorous selection of hand harvested grapes in the vineyard."

Winemaking: 

"Traditional elaboration. 100% destemmed. Temperature controlled fermentation with selected indigenous yeast. Total maceration is 24 days long."

Aging: 

"14.5 months in Bordelaise French and American oak barrels. Maximum of three vintage old barrels. Racked regularly every four months"
