Winemaker Notes:
"Every vintage of this wine is truly unique because we chose not to be restricted to a particular vineyard or profile - but rather a wine that tasted delicious with whatever "stray" barrels we had on hand. This year's Stray Dogs blend is made mostly of Grenache and Pinot Noir with a little Mourvèdre to add depth. The fruit comes from two notable vineyards - one in Paso Robles and the other in Sta Rita Hills. It offers brambly fruit flavors with a long, weighty finish. I am over the top passionate about 2 things - making great wine and my adopted, trusty sidekick, Stout, pictured on the label. At Stout's suggestion, 10% of sales benefit the Sonoma County Humane Society, so thank you for supporting strays with your purchase of this wine! Pairing suggestions: alongside your favorite furry friend."
