"An aromatic, dry frizzante wine from an old fashioned producer of organic wines. Donati Camillo works with native varieties of the Emilia region, including this local strain of Malvasia. He makes both a dry and sweet version, this being the completely dry one. All his white wines are made with skin contact, giving them a slight amber-orange color and a bit of tannic influence. Made in the rustic col fondo method, denoting re-fermentation in the bottle and left non-disgorged (keeping the sediment from the ferment in the bottle and therefore naturally hazy)."
