"The Red Wine Winds of Change is an attractive Syrah-based blend. Crushed flowers, spices, blood orange, mint and tobacco lend savory perfume to this mid-weight, nervy red. This cool climate red shows the brighter, more red-toned character of Syrah. Desire Lines is one of my most exciting discoveries this year. Cody Rasmussen is the Assistant Winemaker at Bedrock. He makes these wines with his wife, Emily, sourcing fruit from a pretty enviable collection of vineyards. The wines, highly expressive of both variety and place, are well worth checking out."

"We have been consistently impressed by the wines of Desire Lines, and this Syrah-based blend is an absolute steal at the price. Right from the first, it shows a keen sense of crafting with a beautifully composed nose of berries, pepper and dried flowers framed by a deft bit of oak, and, if anything, its subtly spiced flavors of optimally ripened fruit are deeper and more involving yet. It is an impeccably balanced wine that exhibits exceptionally fine integration of its many parts, and, while already a genuinely satisfying glassful, it will do nothing but get better over the course of the next three to five years. *Good Value*"
