Fresh, focused and complex in structure, it presents a richness of Asian pear and spiced oak that develops as it opens on the midpalate. The palate is youthfully taut, displaying the saline and tanginess characteristic of youthful Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay—this will require plenty of time to unwind in bottle.
