"Its ancient name “frappatu” seems to refer to the word “fruity”, which perfectly characterizes the mellow bouquet of this wine. 

Our single-variety Frappato wine is made of wine grapes growing in sandy soil, which is typical of Ragusa area. This wine is fragrant and features the scents of spices, red berries and black pepper. It’s slightly acid and spicy on the palate and has blueberries, wild strawberries and wild blackberries flavors."
