“Dark red/purplish berry fruit, rose petal, lavender, spice and mint in the nose. Bold, juicy and expressive with earthy ripe flavors and a hint dried herbs on the palate. The finish is soft and persistent. A very balanced and structured wine that held up extremely well over three days.”
About the Producer:
James Family has been a store favorite for many years now. Jeff and Judy Jones family vineyard was planted in 1998 and the grapes have been mostly sold to Schramsberg Winery every year since, except a small amount reserved for the family label. The vineyard is managed by Steve and Joe Dutton who practice sustainable farming techniques. The wine we are offering today is their 2013 James Family Stony Point Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir.
