Beautifully concentrated, yet fresh and elegant, with full-bodied aromas and flavors of black raspberries, spring flowers, crushed rocks and spice, it’s already approachable (which is unusual by this cuvée’s standards) and can be drunk anytime over the coming two decades."

"This has depth and ripeness, but stays defined, with an almost searing iron spine cutting through the core of plum, blackberry and currant fruit. The long finish lets bay leaf, tobacco and chestnut notes fill in. Showing great drive and intensity, this is still very youthful now and will benefit from extended cellaring. Best from 2015 through 2025."

"Bright ruby. Black and blue fruits on the nose and palate, with an array of spice and floral qualities adding dimension. Rich but very lively, with impressive intensity and concentration but no sense of heaviness. Supple tannins add shape to the extremely long finish, which features notes of star anise, candied violet and cracked pepper."
