About the Producer:
"Bodegas Bilbainas is one of the classic, centenarian bodegas in Rioja. They are based in Haro, as are other iconic bodegas such as Muga, La Rioja Alta, Cune, Lopez de Heredia. In fact, their Viña Pomal is one of the oldest continously produced, single vineyard Riojas on the market. The vineyard is located very close to the famous Tondonia vineyard. It's clearly an amazing site, as this is a wine that, in younger vintages but especially in older ones, rarely fails to impress. Typically it shows purple and black skinned fruits, a marked floral quality and loads of fresh acidity which allow for excellent ageing potential. And in a candidate for vintage of the century such as 1964, their wines are a rare treat to be sure!"
Alcohol: 11-14%
