"The 2023er Niedermenniger Herrenberg Riesling Kabinett Trocken Egon (the reference to this internal cask name is provided in small print on the label after the AP number) comes from over 50-year-old vines in the south-facing part of the vineyard situated just below the Estate’s cellar. This yellow-colored wine offers a beautiful and classic nose of bergamot, citrusy elements, smoke, whipped cream, and smoke. It is beautifully racy on the palate (but without excess) and leaves a superbly focused and elegant feel in the finish. This is classic dry Falkenstein in the making. 2028-2038."
