Le Cinciole is a small, family-owned winery in the heart of Chianti.  They own vineyards in the famous "Conca d'Oro" of Panzono which is long recognized as one of the best crus of Chianti.  Only a few wines are produced at Le Cinciole in order to focus on quality and this focus on quality shows in every bottle.  Their Chianti Classico is a standout.  They produce classically styled Chianti that is complex and layered with finely textured tannins.  Le Cinciole is onle of Chianti Classico's most significant wineries and has met with much critical praise.  Robert Parker declared, "Le Cinciole is one of my favorite Chianti Classico estates and its wines epitomize fragrant, elegant high-altitude Sangiovese."  Vinous states that they make fabulous wines writing, "I was once again deeply impressed with Le Cinciole.  Valeria Vigano and Luca Orsini have quietly turned Le Cinciole into one of the leading estates in all of Italy...wines of tremendous character and pedigree.  Readers should do everything they can to check out these new releases."  The 2021 Le Cinciole Chianti Classico is a winner and a fabulous introduction to the estate.  It's juicy, vivid, succulent and crisp.  This Sangiovese is complex with a mouthwatering finish.  It has notes or strawberries, raspberries, sour cherry, and mild spices.  This is a classic Chianti Classico with tons of character and a well-knit tannic structure.  Enjoy!

Vinous, 92 Points

"The 2021 Chianti Classico is a fabulous introduction to this range from Le Cinciole. Brisk acids and veins of tannin give the 2021 its shape and plenty of overall energy. Expressive floral and savory overtones lend tons of character. The 2021 was vinified in cement and aged in cask for a year, followed by a year in cement. This mid-weight Chianti Classico is a winner."

James Suckling, 91 Points

"A juicy, vivid and crunchy Chianti Classico expressing aromas of strawberries, raspberries and mild spices, following through to a medium body with fine tannins. Succulent and crisp with sour cherry character in the mouthwatering finish. From organically grown grapes."

Winemaker Notes:

"A classical Chianti Classico, this wine has a well knit tannic structure surrounding a palate of mixed berries and potting soil. A gentle savory character adds complexity and invites a range of pairing options."
