Vinous, 93 Points
"Lurid ruby-red. Ripe red and dark berry, baking spice and vanilla aromas, along with a smoky mineral nuance on the powerfully scented nose. Concentrated black raspberry, cherry cola and spicecake flavors show excellent clarity and become sweeter on the back half. Hangs on with strong tenacity on the dark-berry-driven finish, which is framed by fine-grained, slow-building tannins."
Wine & Spirits, 93 Points
"A wine with many lives, this pinot starts out broad and suave as milk chocolate; with air, the shy plum and black cherry fruit comes forward, and by day two, savory flavors join in the delicate weave. The fine tannins keep the wine restrained and elegant, and suggest this has much more to say with time. Let it evolve in the cellar."
Wine Enthusiast, 90 Points
"A new label from Elk Cove's Adam Campbell, Pike Road features a number of single-vineyard designates from some of the most desirable sites in the Willamette Valley. The Fairsing brings raspberry jam, milk chocolate and a smooth mocha finish. Tannins add slightly dusty highlights to the overall creamy mouthfeel."
