Distiller Notes: 

"Ok - here's the deal. This Bourbon was made to commemorate the Archenemy movie starring Joe Manganiello and directed by Adam Egypt Mortimer. It's a film made by a crowdfunded production company (Legion M) and is about a guy from space who drinks whiskey and fights crime. If you're a fan of the movie, great. If you have no idea what any of this is about, that's OK too, cause the whiskey actually tastes excellent. It's a blend of two straight Bourbon lots. One distilled in June 2012 and another in August of 2015. Both were aged in traditional 53 gallon white oak barrels with a relatively light #2 char. Bottled unfiltered it's a beautiful amber color and has a rich nose of oak, bramble fruits, and warm spices. The palate is surprisingly rich and dark with lots of chocolate, toffee, coffee, and spice but a nice big vanilla kick too."
