"Black currants, fall leaves, cocoa, mint and tobacco can all be found as the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon BC smolders up from the glass.  This smooths over the palate with creamy textures and ripe blueberry fruit contrasted by exotic spices and a core of zesty acidity, maintaining marvelous freshness as a sour citrus twang adds contrast toward the close.  Sweet tannins linger along with mocha and lavender notes, as the 2020 finishes lightly structured yet eager to please.  Drink this ripe, yet balanced Cabernet now with a short decant over the medium term.  Nicely done."

"The 2020 BC Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerhouse of character and balance. This vintage marks the addition of Champoux Vineyard, which catapults this wine to new heights of opulence while retaining our Old World foundation from Wallula Vineyard. Big aromas of dried rose petals, black truffle, and plum jam, meld into deep flavors of marionberry and tobacco. A bright summer juiciness makes this wine extremely drinkable upon release, yet the depth of complexity and structure will allow BC to age beautifully for twenty years. Fine-grained tannins carry through the velvety finish, ending in a flourish of cacao. Much like her namesake, this wine knows itself."
