"Purple in color. 14.9% ABV. Zinfandel with a smattering of Petite Sirah. Gorgeous nose of red fruits, citrus, baking spices and anise. Medium body with exquisite acidity. Light and refreshing with bright, juicy fruits. Cherry, strawberry, nectarine and a touch of pepper on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. Really charming Zinfandel that is right in my wheelhouse. Best over the next 2-3 years. $40 at the winery." 

Winemaker Notes: 

"This Zin is a blend of three different Alexander Valley vineyards. The Giovanatto old vine vineyard and the DenBeste Vineyard supplied the Zinfandel and we sourced the Petite Sirah from the Reynoso Vineyard. All three vineyards are in the northern end of the valley near Cloverdale. It’s about 87% Zin and 13% Petite Sirah."
