"Light, vivid yellow.  Ripe citrus and pit fruit aromas, along with suggestions of pungent herbs and jasmine.  Fleshy and seamless in the mouth, offering juicy pear and white peach flavors that are sharpened by a suggestion of bitter orange pith.  Repeats the floral note on the lingering finish, which is given grip by a hint of bitter quinine."  

Winemaker Notes: 

"Apricots, almonds, and, above all, finesse. If I had to pick a single wine to show how great a Marsanne (in all senses of the word) can be, this would be it. The long, inviting, bitter notes on the finish are truly remarkable. Quantities are sadly small."
