"The 2023 Chablis Vieilles Vignes has a tightly-wound bouquet, more white peach here, fresh pear and light flinty scents. The palate is medium-bodied with a pleasant fatness on the entry. Quite a weighty Vieilles Vignes this year and perhaps it doesn't quite have the same tension as the previous vintage on the finish. But it will drink well for several years."

"A ripe yet airy nose combines aromas of green fruit and lemon-lime with those of iodine, crushed anise and shellfish. The old vines are in evidence as there is very good volume to the caressing medium-bodied flavors that exude a bracing salinity on the attractively dry, long and balanced finale This does though need better depth so a few years of keeping are recommended."
