"Pouilly Fumé is the underdog in the Loire Valley compared to Sancerre, but don't sleep on it and bottles like this. The wine opens with a nose of chalk followed by ripe golden apple, dried dill and thyme, white nectarine and dried lemon zest. Mature fruit reveals itself on the palate and is comfortable in its strength."
