"Aromas of salted plum, blueberry and anise waft from the glass of this aromatically compelling Zin. The palate has a marvelous balance of rich tannin and juicy acidity, with spiced fig compote, black cherry and black plum flavors on display and a savory, almost salty edge to the finish."  

Winemaker Notes: 

"The 2022 Bacigalupi is a bold Zinfandel packed with flavor. The aromatics are a complex mélange of raspberry and black cherry with a dash of clove spice. The wine shines on the palate with bursting berries of ripe raspberry and blackberry, followed by lush bacon fat. The smooth finish rides out long and strong, where the berry fruit glides over subtle dark chocolate."
