"The intensely mineral-driven 2022 Vernaccia di San Gimignano Campo Della Pieve is wickedly fresh and floral, with dusty white flowers and hints of ginger giving way to fresh sliced apricots.  This is deeply textural, nearly oily yet full of saline tension as lime zest and savory spice accentuate its green apple fruit.  This finishes long and structured with a crunchy character, leaving a salty tinge and a check-puckering sour citrus note.  Excellent."

"Highly distinctive, displaying herbal, citrus and elderflower aromas. There’s quintessential salinity, dynamism and depth of flavour here. From a 15-year-old vineyard, owned by the Logi family, planted on 1.5ha of yellow sand and limestone below the pieve (‘parish’) of San Donato. Spontaneous fermentation and long ageing on the fine lees in concrete. Organic."
