"The 2022 Godello Cesar Marquez La Salvation comes from a 100-year-old vineyard in Arganza, Bierzo, planted on clay and slate soils and grated onto Mencia vines.  The 2022 was made without temperature controller batonnage.  It reveals delicate apple and pear aromas with floral hints of linden and acacia.  Creamy and full-bodied, it maintains freshness despite a warm vintage, expressing the variety’s concentration and elegance." 

Winemaker Notes: 

"This wine comes from 100 year old Godello vines scattered throughout 2 different old vine sites co-planted to primarily red grapes. César tags the white vines and harvests them separately to produce this unique wine, allowing the voice of these old vines to be heard."
