"From a 2-acre vineyard we planted on our Benchland property in 2013, Aglianico is fast becoming our best Italian varietal wine. The well-drained soils and micro-climate are ideal for ripening Aglianico. Our night time cool temps result in more expressive fruit and ideal acidity than in Southern italy, with the tannin structure you exect from the DOCG, Taurasi. The 2021 Aglianico is concentrated, complex and balanced, with finer tannins than in previous vintages. It really personifies the great 2021 vintage. I love this wine!"
