"It says something about the Aligoté grape that masters of premier cru Pinot Noir, Bertrand and Denis Chevillon, choose to focus some of their energy on it. Perhaps they agree with Kermit that a great red wine should be preceded by a great white? Maybe they wanted to have a bit extra of their own white wine around before popping one of their reds? Their Aligoté vines are up to 50 years old and some of them are co-planted among their Pinot Noir. Premier cru Aligoté anyone?" — Chris Santini
