"Such a pretty nose of cooking spice, red and black cherries and dried garden herbs. Full-bodied with excellent depth and nuance. Silky tannins. Whole black pepper and spiced cherry make the palate hum. There is a deft hand at work here. There is so much exciting energy to the ripe, balanced fruit. This is showing well now, but can age easily for the next 10-15 years. Drink or hold." 

"The 2019 Syrah The Beautiful comes from the Powerline Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley and is 97% Syrah and 3% Viognier that saw 50% new French oak. It's another classic, slightly Northern Rhône-like effort offering darker cherry and currant fruits as well as some iron, tapenade, and peppery herb aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, concentrated, and seamless, it has ripe tannins, plenty of mid-palate depth, and outstanding length."
