"From first-class parcels and vinified in traditional fuders, the 2019 Erdener Treppchen Riesling Kabinett - 6 - opens with perfectly ripe and sun-soaked fruit aromas, representing golden-yellow, thin-skinned and even transparent Riesling berries as well as a refined slate aroma. Very delicate! The palate is pure, refined and crystalline, balancing perfectly ripe and elegant fruit with delicate acidity and a mineral fundament. The finish is stimulatingly pure and salty. This is one of the finest No. 6 bottlings I have tasted from Christian Hermann, and it's certainly one of the most remarkable Kabinett Rieslings you can buy from the 2019 vintage. 8.5% alcohol. Drink now-2050."
Winemaker Notes:
"Light yellow green in color with aromas of peach and citrus fragrance with mineral notes. Light, clear and fruity in the mouth, with some herbal and mineral notes, fine acidity, a touch of tannin, but very harmonious, lingers on with a pleasant finish."
