"Smoke, tar, plum and chocolate blend into a united, fruity richness on the nose. The palate is dense and compact, wonderfully fresh and endowed with really supple, fine and smooth tannins that are imbued with smoky, tarry juiciness. This is one elegant number, full of poise and promise. Drink 2022–2040." 

Winemaker Notes: 

"Red and dark fruit, juniper, and spice, with ripe tannin, and good length. Lightly salty. Good balance. Drinks very well despite of its youth, a result of the warm vintage. Drink this now and over the next few years for its fruit."
