"The 2016 Chianti Classico Riserva Vigna Poggiarso is bright, forward and punchy. Bright acids and lifted floral notes give the 2016 its distinctly gracious, refined personality. This is an especially perfumed Riserva with mid-weight, classic sense of structure. Silky tannins add to the wine's elegant, polished feel. The Vigna Poggiarso is not an obvious wine, but it is undeniably appealing and very pretty."  

Winemaker Notes: 

"Amber-colored with characteristic notes of dried fruit, honey, and apricot tied with hints of vanilla and spices. Velvety with great structure and roundness. Persistent finish with pleasant lasting freshness."
