Paso Robles is the wild west of California wine. It's California's fastest growing AVA driven by growth in ownership by small, family-owned producers. The Paso style of Cabernet Sauvignon is big and bold. They produce richly textured, opulent and ready-drinking Cabs. Cabs from Paso Robles have flavors of anise, cola and peppercorns with bright acidity. These wines are balanced, bold and timeless classics for a reason. They're fruit-forward, savory and age-worthy. McPrice Meyers and Billy Grant are powerhouse players in the Paso Robles wine world. Mac is a self-taught winemaker who launched an iconic brand that helped shepherd Paso through its Golden Age. He makes highly acclaimed, bold, yet balanced wines. Billy is a true champion of Paso Robles and in charge of business development for McPrice Myers. He's been promoting the area and its wines for decades. This wine is a collaboration between two of the biggest players in the Paso Robles wine scene. The 2021 M By Mac And Billy Cabernet Sauvignon well overdelivers for the price. It has alluring notes of cassis, black plum, pencil shavings, dried herbs, tobacco leaf, crushed rocks, leather and lavender. It's lush and attractive with a long finish. This Cabernet is full-bodied, concentrated and powerful, but not over the top. It has refreshing acidity and abundant, grainy tannins. Enjoy!

"I love this easy-to-drink 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon from McPrice Myers that well overdelivers for its price. Deep ruby-purple, it has alluring aromas of cassis, pencil shavings, dried herbs, leather and lavender, plus classy touches of oak spice. The full-bodied palate is concentrated and powerful without going over the top. It has abundant, grainy tannins, flinty streaks and plenty of refreshing acidity to carry the long finish. It's not your average chocolate bomb California Cabernet, despite its modest price tag, allotment certainly won't last long!"
Wine Enthusiast, 91 Points
"This partnership between Paso Robles powerhouse players McPrice Myers and Billy Grant begins with aromas of black plum extract, graphite, tobacco leaf and roasted meat on the lush, attractive nose. There's a firm edge to the palate, where charred wood and pencil shaving flavors meet with crushed black rocks, marjoram and more black plum flavors."
