"The 2020 Gamay Estate was fermented with a small portion of whole clusters and matured 10 months in neutral French oak. Medium ruby-purple, it has inviting scents of blueberry, tangerine and red cherries, plus wafts of dried herbs and watermelon. The palate is chalky and fresh with concentrated berry fruits and mouthwatering acidity. It has the texture, brightness and fruitiness to work very well at the table."

"Fruit-driven aromas of strawberry and raspberry sorbet are offset by plump rose buds, crushed rocks and turned soil on the nose of this estate Gamay, a new bottling for the brand. Lively pepper spices cut into that ripe red fruit core on the palate, making for an easily quaffable glass."

"The 2020 Gamay Estate is bright, punchy and super-expressive.  The purity of the flavors is compelling.  Crushed red berry fruit, cinnamon and lifted floral accents lend character throughout.  The 2020 is absolutely delicious and an unexpected surprise given that Gamay is not widely planted in the Sta. Rita Hills.  Perhaps it should be."

"Raspberry, black cherry candy, lilac, and tilled earth aromas of classic Gamay show on the nose. On the palate, bright acidity and a juicy burst of tart black cherry and raspberry flavors overlie stony minerality and moderate structure. Served with a light chill, this fresh and inviting Cru Beaujolais style wine goes with almost any meal."
