Winemaker Notes:
"Bessie is named after the 3000 gallon oak tank that we installed at our first winery on the west side of Dry Creek Valley, Bessie fermented many of our Zinfandels for two decades. This Zin exhibits traditional Dry Creek character: big fruit, big spice, and a round mid palate with an extended finish. The nose shines with blackberry, currant, anise and black pepper. The wine shines with jammy, round structure on the front and mid-palate with a soft mouthfeel. The finish incorporates soft tannins and bright acidity to illustrate good agin potential."
