"Dewar’s 19 Year Old limited edition offering is back to celebrate the 2021 U.S. Open Championship at The Country Club, Brookline, Mass. This is the same site where Francis Ouimet won the legendary 19th U.S. Open®, sparking a passion for golf in the US that continues to this day.

Extra-matured exclusively in New American Oak & Ex-Rye casks to produce a Scotch Whisky that’s as rich and complex as the great game of golf itself. Dewar’s 19 Year Old, “The Champions Edition”, was developed by now 3-time Master Blender of the Year Stephanie Macleod in partnership with the USGA.

This latest expression honors two inseparable Scottish icons, Scotch Whisky and golf. From many casks, one champion blend emerges."

Tasting Notes: 

Nose: "Notes of baked Dutch apple pie, dried apricot, warm oak, and toasted grains."

Palate: "The palate leads with a viscous mouth-feel and tones of peach, toasted coconut granola, lemon curd, and a nice hit of baking spices."

Finish: "The finish is medium-length that seems to slowly dissolve into burnt toffee."
