Wine Enthusiast, 94-96 Points
"Concentrated, chunky, the richness just a part of the huge power. It's a wine of considerable density, very liquorous."
Wine Spectator, 94 Points
"Lush and captivating, showing layers of pineapple, peach, passion fruit and mango entwined with one another and carried by a bright green almond note through the finish. Not shy on depth, but offers a decidedly prettier style of Sauternes in this largely power-focused vintage. Best from 2015 through 2028."
Vinous, 93 Points
"The 2010 La Tour Blanche is well endowed on the nose with scents of acacia honey, yellow plum and orange rind, just a touch of saffron emerging with time (a leitmotif of this vintage.). The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity. This feels spicier than its peers, finely turned towards the finish with a touch of ginger on the aftertaste. Excellent."
Wine Advocate, 92-94 Points
"The Chateau La Tour Blanche has a complex bouquet with scents of grapefruit, honey, apricot and white flowers. The palate is very well-balanced, with a great sense of tension and poise, and notes of citrus lemon, lime, dried honey and a touch of marmalade that lead to a tightly wound, focused, almost Germanic finish. This is intriguing Sauternes that should repay considerable cellaring."
