"In the same ballpark, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Firehouse Vineyard comes from a rocky site off the Silverado Trail in Rutherford. It too is all Cabernet and spent 20 months in 70% new French oak. It’s a concentrated, medium to full-bodied effort that has considerable elegance as well as exotic notes of blue fruits, violets, orange blossom, and dark chocolate. Another beautiful wine from winemaker Anna Monticelli, give bottles 3-4 years of bottle age and enjoy over the following decade or more."
