"Sassy pants, Bing cherry, baking spices, gamey."
James Suckling, 91 Points
"Attractive notes of ripe raspberries and dried cherries with hints of cloves, cedar and sandalwood. Medium- to full-bodied with chalky texture to the tannins and succulent red berry fruit underneath. Tense and juicy. Delicious. Drink now."
Winemaker Notes:
"The rich dark tones begin on the nose and carry through into the lingering finish. Dark berry aromas- blackberry, boysenberry, huckleberry- mingle with subtle traces of savory herbs and toasted oak. Bold dark fruit appears on the entry as balanced acidity tames the plush flavors. Threads of forest floor spices and toasty oak weave through layers of blackberry, plum, black raspberry, cheery cola, and pomegranate. The graceful composition created by the flavors and structure allows one to just focus and enjoying each sip."
