"Ara is usually made up of two vineyards, Brooks Estate and Yamhill Vineyard. It shows their old-vine complexity in two voices, one lean lime and green apple, the other a deeper voice, more given to stone fruits, nectarine and pale peach. Delivered with dry intensity, the tension between the vineyard expressions forms a complex matrix of flavor. It will reward patient cellaring."

"Sharp tree fruit flavors are accented with tart herbs, crisp apple skin and lemon rind. It's a tight wine with a certain tension to it, and it needs extra time to unwind further."
