"Also all Grenache, the 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape Les Terrasses has more minerality and stony nuances as well as beautiful red fruits, white flowers, camphor, and hints of new leather. It shows the seamless, sexy style of the vintage but has enough tannins to warrant 2-4 years of bottle age. It's another beautiful wine in the lineup."

"Sourced from the lieu-dit of les Escondudes, the all-Grenache 2019 Chateauneuf du Pape Les Terrasses spent 15 months in older barriques. There is a touch of cedar as a result, but it's more of a brief hint, as the nose is dominated by ripe cherries and herbal notes. In the mouth, this is full-bodied, supple, rich and lushly textured, without being a massive, super-concentrated beast. With a long, spicy and complex finish, it's a winner."

Lush and broad in the mouth, offering powerful, spice-tinged cherry preserve and boysenberry flavors that take on a smoky nuance with air. In a generous, vaguely decadent style but not lacking for energy. Shows impressive power and dark fruit thrust on the youthfully tannic finish, which hangs on with strong tenacity."
