"I loved the 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape, an incredibly Provençal, complex, exuberant beauty revealing both red and black fruits, lots of peppery garrigue, saddle leather, lavender, and subtle meaty nuances, medium to full body, and ripe, integrated tannins. It's one of those wines that instantly reminds me of a Southern Rhône street market with its wild complexity and Provençal charm. A blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvèdre, drink bottles over the coming 10-12 years."
