Every Harvest Fair, there are always a few wines that are hard to keep in stock.  This past Harvest Fair, the Ammunition Pinot was one of the fair's biggest sellers.  It seemed like everytime we put out a stack, we'd turn around and it would already be gone.  People went wild for this Pinot and for a good reason.  Ammunition wine punches above its weight class and proves that killer wines don't need to be so expensive.  Ammunition Wine & Spirits is the brainchild of Andy Wahl and Bill Kerr.  In the past decade the winery has gone from its first release of 850 cases in 2015 to a winery and distillery that does 35,000 cases a year to match consumer demand.  Ammunition is an award-winning brand passionate about the American West.  Kelly Reilly (Yellowstone's Beth Dutton) has joined the brand as a new partner.   Their motto is excellence over everything and they frequently get high marks from critics.  The 2022 Ammunition Pinot Noir comes from two world-class AVAs, Carneros and the Russian River Valley.  This Pinot is bold from start to finish and opens with a cascade of fruit flavors.  On the nose, there are aromas of blueberry, strawberry, cherry, hints of cinnamon and dried leaves.  It has smooth, silky tannins and a noteworthy finish.  It's rich with flavors of chocolate-covered cherry, plum, strawberry and vanilla spice.  This is the last of the award-winning 2022 vintage we'll be able to get.  And because it's the last of it, we were able to blast it out at a killer price.  Grab one before it's gone!

Bold from start to finish, you can expect rich, full chocolate-covered cherry and plum notes. Long, smooth tannins keep this wine going and going and going for a noteworthy finish."
