Founded in 1982, Talbott Vineyards is an iconic California wine estate and one of the pioneers of winemaking in Monterey County. They craft estate-grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay inspired by the wines of Burgundy. For more than three decades, Talbott has consistently garnered praise from wine critics and customers alike. They are famous for crafting impeccable, estate-grown wines. Wine Enthusiast described Talbott's Kali Hart Pinot Noir as "one of the best bangs for the buck out of the Central Coast every vintage". The fruit for the Kali Hart Pinot comes from their legendary Sleepy Hollow Vineyard and the famed Santa Lucia Highlands. Though this particular vintage has not yet been reviewed, the last vintage of Kali Hart Pinot earned a 94-Point score. Each year the wine consistently scores in the 90s showcasing just how great this wine is for the money. The 2021 Talbott Kali Hart Pinot Noir is fruit-forward, bright and approachable. It has aromas of dark plum, cherry, allspice and toasted vanilla. There are flavors of strawberry-rhubarb, blackberry, a hint of dried herbs and a touch of minerality. "Kali Hart Pinot Noir is a fruit-forward expression of our coastal-influenced vineyards in Santa Lucia Highlands, California. Aromas of dark plum and Bing cherry greet the nose with inviting notes of allspice and toasted vanilla. Silky tannins reveal layers of strawberry-rhubarb and blackberry with a hint of dried herbs. The finish is long and luscious with a touch of minerality."
